It's official. Miki's first words: Da-da. She muttered it sometime early Easter morning as she was chatting with herself. Just to make sure I heard it correctly, I asked her to repeat it, and repeat she did for the rest of the day.
She's apparently so excited and proud about making a new sound that she wouldn't quit talking today. And guess who's thrilled? Daddy's been waiting to hear that for quite awhile and now he wants to know when she'll actually associate the word with him. Maybe after she learns to say "Ma-ma?"
I wonder what's going to come out of her mouth next.
